Annelieke Holland is a performer and audiovisual artist based in Amsterdam. Her work moves between live performance and moving image, centring the body as the primary activator of media on stage and as a compositional tool within the cinematic frame. Driven by an exploration of the female gaze and the interplay between object and spectator, her work spans intimate autobiographical narratives as well as more abstract visual languages.
She graduated as a performer from the Toneelacademie Maastricht in 2017 and developed interdisciplinary projects across the Netherlands and Morocco, alongside her work as an artistic advisor. In 2023, she completed her Master’s in Artistic Research in and through Cinema at the Netherlands Film Academy.
Her projects have been presented at the European Media Art Festival (Germany), Frascati Theatre (The Netherlands), Festival Cement (The Netherlands), Le 18 Marrakech (Marokko), and Eye Filmmuseum (The Netherlands), among others.
